When planning my last safari throuh Australia, I wanted to cram as much adventure as I could into a short amount of time. Australia is a massive cotinent, and its animals well spread out. Les Kosek of Terra Incognita Guides helped arrange for me the ideal package hunt. From sambar in the south to camels in the remote outback, TIG can set up any of your hunting and fishing needs. There is no way I could have personally arranged the variety of game I persued over half of Australia the way I did. Thanks to TIG for making a dream-hunt become reality.

"I did not know much about Australia, except from the Bush Tucker Man programs, and I wanted to see it and hunt some exotic species.During the Dortmund "Game and Fish"show in Germany in 2000 I met Frans from Terra Incognita Jagdreisen who in turn contacted Terra Incognita Guides in Australia and Les arranged a trip for me there. I wanted to shoot a gold medal Javan Rusa deer, a Water Buffalo, some feral pigs, kangaroos, feral donkeys and dingos.Les from Terra Incognita Guides ( T.I.G.) had arranged the whole trip for me. It would be extremely difficult for me to arrange everything from the Netherlands. I was impressed by Les because when one part of the program had to be canceled due to extreme rainfall, he was able to arrange an alternative hunt a few hundred km northward where there was not that much rain and the hunting grounds were lot more accessible. I was really impressed by the expertise of Les. He also showed me a very good taxidermist, Mel Burton . I was able to see his work and dicuss how my trophies are to be done. I was happy to meet this expert because in ten years time your trophy is the best memory you will have of your hunt. I must say that my trip was a succes: I shot the Javan Rusa, a very good Water Buffalo, some kangaroos, some pigs and even a dingo. The kind of complete service which I have experienced from T.I.G. is very good, they really take care of everything. So I recommend Terra Incognita Guides to everyone, hunter, fisherman or just a tourist.

When we decided to go to Australia I wanted to see the outback and being a hunter it was natural to combine that with a safari. I searched the internet and found several australian hunting sites. Out of them I picked TIG because of the wide variety of offers and the quick and thorough response on all my questions. In cooperation with Les I worked out a plan for my safari and a few weeks later we arrived at Werai Park, South East Queensland. We drove the car and stalked on foot and on a horseback and the wildlife was plentifull and I got the trophies that I wanted. My guide Paul and our hostess Jenny were great and each were experts in their field. Therefore I can truly recommend TIG to all you fellow hunters.

Les I have been thinking back on that marvellous trip you took me on into the outback of Australia. It was so great that I really wanted to write you this note and again say thank you. Thank you for providing me with such an extraordinary experience. The memories of our excursion are something that I will take with me to the grave. Particularly vivid is my remembrance of our first morning at the first of the several outback stations that we visited when we got up before daybreak and experienced a sunrise over the red colours of the Australian outback. I'm sure you won't remember as I do because it is something that you are so experienced with but I was struck by so many things in that first hour away from our camp. There was not only the colours but equally striking was the abundance and variety of the wildlife we encountered, the peace, the solitude and the remoteness, it was all just so fantastic. And we went on to experience so many other wonderful aspects of Australia; the opal mine, the hunting, the life of the outback people and the natural wonders. I have to tell you that I have visited Australia I don't know how many times; at least a dozen but your knowledge and experience of the outback made my trip with you by far the best of all of them. I am ever hopeful that I will be able to one day soon pick up the phone and call you to see when you next have a booking available. Thank you Les it was everything that I had hoped for.
