Australian and New Zealand Game
BANTENG,WATER BUFFALO, WILD SCRUB BULL, WILD DONKEY, WILD CAMEL, WILD BOAR, DINGO and MAGPIE GEESE can be hunted in tropical North of Australia in Northern Territory and Queensland. Hunting there is best in the Dry Season, starting June through to the end of November. During the rest of the year, in Wet Season, hunting can be difficult due to the wet weather. With the exception of Feral Camel, all other game is usually hunted in vast areas of Arnhemland (500 x 250 sq km)- one of the world's last true free range, fair chase hunts over hunting concessions of enormous sizes. Magpie geese can be hunted in season, usually from September till December. Camels are hunted in southern lands, in arid and desert areas.
RED STAG, WHITE & RED (SPANISH) FALLOW, JAVAN and MOLUCCAN RUSA, CHITAL, SAMBAR, ELK, BLACKBUCK, AFRICAN OSTRICH, EMU, DAMARA RAM, BLACK RAM, WOMBAT are hunted in either Great Barrier Reef Island Reserves or Safari Park fenced enclosures in Queensland or South Australia. Hunts for Emu and Wombat are on a tag & licence permits
SAMBAR and HOG DEER are hunted free range in Victorian Mountains. Hunts for free range Hog deer is limited to the month of April only. On free range hunts for Sambar and Hog Deer there is no trophy fee.
CHAMOIS, TAHR, WHITETAIL DEER, WAPITI, RED STAG, FALLOW, SIKA DEER, RED TAIL WALLABY, WILD GOATS ,WILD BOARS and various species of WATERFOWL can be hunted in New Zealand in Safari Park enclosures, National Parks and Private Land free range.
For all those species there can be FULLY GUIDED HUNTS, SEMI GUIDED HUNTS, EXPLORATORY HUNTS, DO-IT-YOURSELF HUNTS, VARMINT HUNTS, CULL HUNTS, COMMERCIAL HARVESTING HUNTS and SHOOTING SCHOOL.
